Dragonfly Humeston
Complete liquidation of the Dragonfly store front, building and lot!
June 25th, 2022 @ 10AM
211 Broad St., Humeston, IA 50123
After years of traveling and selling at Vintage market venues from Wisconsin, Minnesota, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Texas and Iowa Dragonfly is selling its complete inventory. Items range from the quaint to the unique finds from those travels.
Dragonfly is housed in the local historic former New Era publishing company. The newspaper was a long standing business in Humeston from the late 1800’s up to the 1980’s. This 1905 building was completely gutted and renovated in 2015, left with the original front. A new roof (spray foamed on inside), plumbing, updated wire and electrical and HVAC, new flooring and floor joist, wet bar, and 2 bathrooms, were updated for the Dragonfly Vintage store. The building is 20×60’ with an extra 110’ to the property line if you ever wanted to add on. Portions of the decor include original items such as the pulley system for the newspaper printing presses and original flooring was used to build the wet bar. The wall shelving was re-purposed from the original drug store formerly on Broad st. This building could easily be made into a studio apartment, or move in ready business store front!
Auction will be held on site at 211 Broad St. June 25th at 10am.
Online and Live bidding available.
The property will sell at 1pm with larger items to follow.
Terms 10% down, 5% Buyer premium (5% will be added to the final hammer price and included in the purchase agreement)
Property taxes: $684/yr. • Closing will be 30 days from auction date
